What is the Bomaksan BENCH?
The Bomaksan BENCH (part no. BBENCH) combines all the benefits of a mobile LEV fume extraction system with a downdraft welding bench, and is suitable for use across all medium-to-high welding fume producing applications. In other words, rather than going to great lengths to fit a fume extractor into your workspace without impeding the welding process, fume extraction is instead fully integrated into the work surface itself.
From there, welding fume and other hazardous particles are captured directly at the source; this is widely considered to be the most effective way to remove fume from welding environments.
To that end, the welding bench is equipped with two cleanable cartridge filters that extend filter lifetime and thus lower the cost of ownership. Welders have the option of selecting PolyMIGHT PTFE filters (H13 HEPA Class) for 99.99% filtration efficiency, or NanoBLEND filters* (F9 > 95% efficiency) for a higher filter surface area that ensures even longer run times between cleaning. In both cases, the welder will be advised when filter cleaning is required via a filter clog display that will help effectively maintain the condition and overall performance of the extraction bench.
What’s more, the Bomaksan BENCH has an extremely user-friendly layout and design, featuring a fan rotation direction display, ON/OFF switch, a working hour counter, and expandable side panels to maximise the work-area if necessary. This ties into the overriding aim of having fume extraction become a natural extension of the welder’s process, with systems designed from inception to be intuitive and impactful in equal measure.
Finally, this welding table includes two 230 V plugs and one compressed air plug to accommodate operators’ hand tools. Once connected to power, the bench is completely self-sufficient, not requiring any ducting.
