How does G5-03 fit into Generation 5?
Built for professional welders, the Speedglas G5-03 range is comprised of both respiratory and non-respiratory helmets, each with new to world technology:

On the one hand, the Speedglas G5-03 Pro Air Welding Helmet with Adflo™ PAPR is a slim, lightweight, fixed front counterpart to the Speedglas G5-01 Heavy-Duty Flip-Up Welding Helmet. In that vein, the G5-03 Pro Air is over 10% lighter than the G5-01, with a 30% more attractive starting price point.
Moreover, while the G5-03 Pro Air helmet does not include a specialised grinding visor, the combination of its all-new TAP function*, Speedglas TrueView optics, and optional task light can optimise the helmet for grinding even in poorly lit environments.
Welders can also enjoy an even more expansive view of their overall work area with the G5-03, as the 71 x 108mm lens viewing area is accompanied by shade 5 SideWindows for enhanced peripheral vision.
Finally, the G5-03 Pro Air retains many of the most popular Speedglas G5-01 features and accessories, including Climate Control, extra head & neck coverage, a task light option, and the 12-hour heavy-duty Adflo PAPR as standard.

On the other hand, the non-respiratory Speedglas G5-03 Pro Welding Helmet serves as a well-rounded complement to the Speedglas G5-02 Curved Auto-Darkening Welding Helmet.

While the Speedglas G5-02 is optimised for precision TIG welding via the world’s first curved lens, the G5-03 Pro is built to suit a wide range of common applications (including grinding and cutting), while still offering arc detection down to 1 Amp for low amperage TIG welds.
Many of the same G5-03 signatures are on offer (TAP technology*, True-View, configurable coverage, Bluetooth® connectivity, optional task light), with the same 3 lens options to choose from:
