Is the welder required to wear a safety helmet at your workplace?
Flip-Up or Fixed Front Welding Helmet?
Flip-Up Welding Helmet
With a flip-up welding helmet, welders can flip-up the welding lens component to reveal a large clear visor for grinding applications and non-welding tasks (e.g. set-up and moving around the workplace). Welders have completely clear and uninhibited views of their workpiece and surroundings while maintaining their eye, face, and respiratory protection at all times. These helmets are recommended for welders who grind frequently, are on the move constantly, require clear vision, and/or are required to set-up work pieces on a regular basis.
Fixed Front Welding Helmet
A fixed front welding helmet is the lighter, smaller, and more economical choice. It is still suitable for grinding applications and non-welding tasks; however, these tasks are performed through the lightest shade of the welding lens as opposed to a large clear visor. New Speedglas TAP technology allows the welder to simply tap on the outside of the welding helmet to switch quickly and easily between welding and grinding settings, even with a gloved hand.

Are you looking for portable fume extraction or fixed (ducted) fume extraction?
Portable Fume Extraction
Portable systems can be a more economical option when compared to fixed ducted installations and in many situations can offer more flexibility as requirements change over time. They can be carried or rolled around the workplace and positioned where required and are suitable for light to heavy fume environments.
Fixed (Ducted) Fume Extraction
Fixed (ducted) installations are ideal for extremely heavy fume environments.

Would you likely use a single arm system, dual arm system, or a combination of both ?
A single arm system can be used for one welder. A dual arm system can be used for two welders working closely to one another.
